Review Wyoming Tough by Diana Palmer
A cowboy through and through, ranch owner Mallory Kirk knows what it means to put in a full day’s work. But does his new cowgirl? He has his doubts that Morie Brannt will be able to pull her own weight, even if the petite young woman does seem to have a lot of spirit.
As they spar over events at the ranch and a past that threatens their hopes for the future, sparks begin to fly, and Mallory can’t help but notice Morie in a new light. But is this tough Wyoming man ready to love?
Ohh Ms. Palmer, I keep letting you do this to me. I keep letting you get my hopes up, then when I read the books they are dashed against the rocks. Again with your hideous hero that doesn’t deserve to be a hero, the guy we don’t want to see the heroine end up with is whom you’re trying to make us love? He’s an uber-asshole, who is letting his mind get warped by the blonde with the evil past, who pushes aside what everyone says about her and about our heroine, so he continues to make an ass of himself. He says horrible evil things to our heroine and NEVER APOLOGIZES or shows remorse. Honestly I’d rather Morie have ended up with the killer than with Mallory.
And Morie, even after he never apologizes she goes back to him? I mean what the hell. And theres a perfectly nice, cute younger richer, guy whose never treated you like crap who you just continue to ignore?
Yep thats the way to make me want to keep cheering you and your supposed romance on. And again, in your novels, MS. Palmer, anyone whose not a virgin is a whore. Great. Just great. Thanks for that. And again, Ms. Palmers voice comes off sounding like an old person trying to explain contemporary life to someone else who has never seen it, like an 80 year old explaining to a newly awakened vampire what life in 2011 is like. Its just off.
